Summer Blockbuster

What was your favorite movie of the summer? 

I look forward to seeing a couple of the new movies..I took a disc of a very old presentation just last week.  The movie in this form was left to me by my Father.  'American In Paris' with Gene Kelly..a wonderful..well done..musical..drama..with professional dancing..having the flair of Kelly and the comedy and wit of concert pianist Oscar Levant.  Dressed up and accessorized by the beauty and acting of Leslie Caron.  I would feel remiss if I did not say the new talents, which build upon these original movie greats, are nothing short of dedicated professionals.

People moving in the past crowding afraid to be last..I wonder how it would come down..In picking cemetary ground..

Commerical ilk?  It won't suit me..if someone says 'die for free'..

ALTHOUGH THE SITUATION IN IRAQ IS FAR FROM STABLE..ALTHOUGH THE TIMES IN ATTITUDE HAVE NOT CHANGED MUCH SINCE THE TAPESTRY IN THIS POST WAS WEAVED..

IT IS A TIME TO BE HAPPY..FOR MANY..A TIME TO HEAL..

APPROXIMATELY 50.000 TROOPS REMAIN IN IRAQ.  IF IT IS TRUE AND RIGHT..THEY WILL HELP..OUR COUNTRY WILL HELP REBUILD IRAQ.

THOUGH IT DID NOT HAVE THE FANFARE OR PHOTOS OF THE HIGH TECH WEAPONS AND DRONES.  ALTHOUGH IT WAS NOT AS LOUD..OR VIOLENT..

ALTHOUGH NO YOUNG SERVICEMAN WILL DISTINGUISH HIMSELF IN IRAQI COMBAT TODAY..

IT IS A DAY WHEN MANY ARE REWARDED WITH PEACE AND A CHANCE TO HEAL.. 

TODAY THE LAST U.S. COMBAT TROOPS LEFT IRAQ.

In early morn..feeling happy..then some torn..what will happen..what to give..in the place..I was born..In the place I surely live..

We have rights..this country's way..private..free in what to say..caring changes what to do..make money honey..up to you..

Your country folks are put upon..leaders steal..nothing won..come across the oceans wide..to make it shake it..freedom side..

The bill of rights..folks..does abide..

Money not a whit of care..makes greedy hide..children don't share..

Get ahead?  A worthy test..

But rights makes U.S. the best..

 

 

I believe one should wander where they please..I think they should be able to..I think they should know what they truely need..money can be made anwhere..Peace Tony

Traveling Kitty

This little guy is hitching a ride with his humans on a hike around the world.  He reminds me of a kitty some time back who rode with me..we went shopping and to the movies.  I took my little guy camping to Big Bear..he was just fine.  I know this feline fellow adds to the adventure..I was just going to post the pic..w/caption..but thought..how often does this happen?

Pigs of a Feather

These two gentlemen from the legislative body of anywhere in the known universe are taking a break from the longest filibuster in history.  Sen. Swine Flu, from the area of love, introduced a bill funding research to logically conquer insanity.  Symptoms were described by billions of victims of war, famine, refugeed familys and of course the diseased from lack of sanitation. The proceedings were in recess because they could not find a literate traslator.
